The George Bryson Heritage House welcomes you to an elegant Georgian-style house, classified as an historic building on February 27, 1980.
Since the year 2000, the Heritage House has opened its doors to visitors for guided tours of the museum, cultural and artistic activities, genealogical research and a tea room. The generosity and energy of the volunteers enabled the Pontiac to preserve one of the most important aspects of the history of the logging industry in the region.
Most recently, the Association manages the site and assures the maintenance of its architectural aspect. The activities in which you will participate are fund-raisers, permitting us, in the near future, to restore yesterday’s glamour to this architectural jewel, unique in the Outaouais.
